First bred in Scotland, the Fife is a small round shaped canary with a lot of personality.  They are active and curious. 

Their song is classified as a "chopper."  It is cheerful, medium loud, and frequent, much like an outdoor bird's song.

Fifes of both sexes come in a variety of colors.  Color classifications include:  green, yellow, white, blue, cinnamon, and varigated.
